How to Read: Plot


Plot—chronology

Chronology—the order in which events of a story occur ... or in which the author relates them.

Linear: forward movement of time, events move from past to present.

Non-linear: forward and backward movement of time. The telling of events is disjointed, jumping back and forth between present and past. Well, this happened...but before that....
